I am an award winning, published photographer from Louisiana, but currently residing in San Antonio, Texas. For over 20 years of my life, I served in the United States Air Force, where I developed a passion for photography, and working with people from diverse backgrounds. I’ve been a storyteller at heart, weaving wild tales that was told to me by the elders in my family and conjuring vivid images that captivated my family and friends. This creative spark fuels my belief that photography is all about storytelling. This serves as a powerful medium to transform ideas into visual narratives, offering a deeper understanding of the subjects we capture. With over a decade of experience under my belt, I’ve dedicated myself to perfecting this craft, knowing that a compelling visual story can elevate any product or service. As soon as you are in my sight, my heart/mind will go to work. I watch how you stand, how big your smile is, if you have goosebumps, or if you had a rough time getting things together before making it to me. Sometimes, I can feel all of this through text messages and phone calls. My thought process is unique because it is way more profound than the average person. My kids took seniors graduation photos and every single shot was amazing. I could not decide which ones to choose from. James took the time to personalize the photo shoot for each one of my kids.
